March 1, 2024 - Search Committee

On behalf of the Vestry, we are pleased to announce that the Search Committee for a new Rector is to be made up of the following members:

2. Andy Follansbee (Vestry Representative)

4. Marge Keller
5. Jane Paradiso
6. Alison Schnaudt
7. Anne Simpson
8. Rex van Veldhuisen (Chair)
9. Lindsay Wyglendowski

On March 10, at the 10 o’clock service, there will be a ceremony at which the Search Committee will be commissioned.

The first thing that the Committee needs to do is to prepare a Parish Profile that will be posted after Father Philip Carr-Jones steps down as Rector on June 30. The Parish Profile will provide information to potential candidates about who we are as a church, where we want to go as a church and what we are looking for in a new Rector. The Committee will involve the congregation in the development of the Profile. After the Profile is posted publicly, the Committee will start to receive applications from Candidates. At the end of the search process the Committee will present three candidates to the Vestry. The Vestry will then select the candidate that the Bishop will call as the new Rector.
