For more than 30 years Church of the Holy Spirit has had one major fundraising event: the annual service auction.
The mission of Church of the Holy Spirit is to become Christ as we serve others, proclaim God's love, and grow in the Spirit.
For more than 30 years Church of the Holy Spirit has had one major fundraising event: the annual service auction. The 40th Annual Service Auction at Church of the Holy Spirit was held LIVE in Dove Hall on Saturday, November 5. This is the primary fundraising event at CHS to benefit our Outreach programs.
Our Ruby Anniversary Service Auction featured a Silent auction from 6:30-7:30 PM and Live Bidding starting at 7:30 PM with our own favorite auctioneer, Alex VanVeldhuisen.
We believe it is our responsibility to support community non-profit programs with our presence as well as with small monetary donations. On our Good Friday Day of Service, for more than 30 years, we have sent over 100 volunteers to help at Good News home with repair projects; to lend a helping hand to our senior citizens through Mr. Fixit of Hunterdon County; gave hours of service to assist our sister parish, Cristo Rey in Trenton. Culinary Angels prepares meals for clients of Family Promise and we celebrate life with a luncheon at Mirota House Senior Living. In addition, we make our facilities available for several other groups such as Meals on Wheels, AA programs, Scouts and SKIT.

One of the items in the bidding was "An Evening at the Pops" with music and food by Alexei Tartakovsky
Here are the photos from the lovely soirée held February 11th with delightful music by Alexei. Great food, fine drinks and fun was by all.
