At the 8:00 o’clock service on January 4, the new Senior Warden, John Andrews, reported that the vestry had a very productive 2-day vestry retreat Friday, January 2, and Saturday, January 3. The Vestry covered a lot of ground. On the first day, the focus was on identifying and discussing all aspects of how the church functions. On the second day, the focus was on the process of transitioning to a new Rector.
John felt that the Vestry worked very well together and was appreciative of the effort that Vestry members and Fr. Phil and Deacons Dot and Michelleslie put into making the retreat successful. In the true spirit of “Church of the Holy Appetite” we enjoyed wonderful food. Friday’s dinner was provided by Jane and Jeff Anderson, Saturday’s breakfast by Father Phil and Saturday’s lunch by Andy Follansbee. John Andrews and Diane Hrozencik, the new Junior Warden, look forward to providing you with periodic updates as the Vestry continues its work in the months ahead. Eva Lesniak made this announcement at the 10:00 o’clock service. Comments are closed.
