Youth Faith Walk - November 27
The confirmands walked 6 miles through the gorge encountering various folks along the way.
We staggered them by 4s every 15 minutes.
First stop was Chris Scheick with her testimony, second stop was Arden, third, Father Phil, fourth Deacon Dot and 5th was me (Pat Egan) with special guests that the kids didn't know about.
The faith walk was meant to be an example of the twists and turns that they will be faced with..knowing that God is always there...even when a wrong turn has been made.
It was quite an experience. 14 kids walked.
Thanks to Pat Egan for the photos.

Making Chrismons - November 20
November 19, 2016 - Field Trip to Seamen's Church Institute
About 12 of us from CHS and from Calvary Episcopal Church, Flemington, went down to Seamen's Church Institute where we assembled 580 ditty bags in less than an hour. These will be distributed by SCI to mariners who will spend Christmas at sea. We took 14 scarves, 5 scarf/hat sets and 3 neck warmers, plus lot of toiletries. It was amazing to see the many, many knitted or crocheted articles made by over 4,000 people across the US. Find out more about Seamen's Church Institute and Christmas at Sea. Don't stop knitting and crocheting - SCI collects these all year!
November 13, 2016 - Young Culinary Angels
The Sunday School young people (with a little adult help) baked a Pop Over Pizza, chopped veggies for a salad, and whisked an Italian salad dressing together. This food will be donated to Family Promise of Hunterdon County. Thank you to Jasmine Marlow and June Filipski for the photos.
