Sunday School Formation Activity: September and October
Gather Module Letter Writing Activity
Much of the New Testament of the Bible contains letters from Paul that teach us about Jesus and our faith. Letter writing is a personal form of communication to build relationships. Paul’s letters in the New Testament were written to strength Christians and explain the Gospel of grace and Jesus’ love for us.
During this Gather Module, children in Sunday School Formation will be writing letters to give to parishioners as a way to introduce themselves to members of our community they may not know as well. Children will be writing letters during the module and giving them during the Peace and after service. If you receive a letter, please take the time to write back to the young person and place your letter in the labeled box in the Narthex. Even if you haven’t received a letter, please consider writing a letter to the children and placing it in the box to be read to the Sunday School Formation class. The wisdom and knowledge you share with our young people can help influence and guide their formation as Christians.
If you have any questions, please see Alice Hrebella, Michelle Marlow, or Lindsay Wyglendowski. Thank you for your participation in our first formation project of the year
