Volunteers are always needed for visitations to Country Arch, especially around the holidays. It's not a major time commitment. Come read to a resident or just visit for an hour. Several of the residents have no local family so you can help brighten spirits just by being present. Maybe you can come help someone enjoy their evening of Bingo or read to someone who has restricted vision.
One of the Lay Eucharistic Visitors takes Holy Communion every Tuesday. Would you care you join them? Check the bulletin to see who is scheduled and ask if you might assist in some way. There are a number of male residents at Country Arch and we could use some men to join this team for some one on one time with them.
