Celebrating 37 Years of Ministry at Church of the Holy Spirit

Please join us on Saturday, June 29th to celebrate together 37 years of Phil's ministry at CHS.  The celebration will start at 4PM with Evensong in the Sanctuary followed by a  a cocktail hour and sit down/stand up buffet dinner at Church of the Holy Spirit.  It will be a joyful evening and opportunity to share  stories and memories with Phil and others from our community as we reminisce about the last 37 years.  ​
We're sending Father Phil off in style and with gratitude for his extraordinary 37 year ministry amongst us!  You are asked to RSVP on the form below for the celebration.  We need to have a clear idea of who is planning to attend the pieces of the celebration so that we can make appropriate plans.  Please fill out the RSVP form and make any gifts by June 15, 2024.
  • The Evensong at 4 pm is open for all
  • There will be a (cash bar) cocktail hour from 5- 6 pm
  • The dinner in Dove Hall from 6-8 pm will be ticketed at $25 per person (children 12 and under, free).
Will there be a gift?  Yes!  Although entirely voluntary, you are encouraged to contribute toward a “Farewell Purse” (financial gift fund) that will be presented to Father Philip to demonstrate our love for him.  You may contribute online or by mailing a check to Church of the Holy Spirit.  If the latter, clearly designate that it is for his farewell purse on the memo line.
Note: Gifts collected for individuals are not tax deductible, and will not appear on your giving statement. ?
