Feed the Hungry- The Youth Group raised more than $1,600.00 through their spaghetti dinner. This money will be distributed to the Open Cupboard in Clinton and the New Jersey Food Bank. They continue to work their way through the Explore, Act, Tell (E.A.T.) Program sponsored by the Albertson’s Foundation, integrated with their spiritual formation, and helping them live into their baptismal covenant.
Thank you to those who contributed to the ECS-NJ offering last week- we were able to give a total of $327.00 to this Diocesan Ministry between the plate offering and the vestry’s gift. We will have The Rev. Tammy Young, the executive Director of ECS-NJ, with us in September to discuss the ministry and mission of this program.

Clothe the Naked-
Linus Blankets- The fleece tie blankets that the children have made this year have been delivered to the Hunterdon-Warren chapter of Project Linus in Bloomsbury. What a brilliant way to provide comfort to children. Demonstrating that we love them and God loves them more.
Seamen’s Institute sent a Thank You for all the scarves and cowls that were created on Good Friday. Knitters and crocheters have continued to create cowls, scarves, and hats for seafarers, and we are planning a trip to the Seamen’s Church Institute in Newark near “Christmas in July” to deliver more items. If you would be interested in participating in this trip, email Mother Kim.

Welcome the Stranger- As we continue to develop our ministry and missions around the concerns discussed at the Annual Meeting we are looking for ideas of what it means to welcome the stranger. This summer we will be having a series of conversations about films that look at the LGBTQIA+ experience and the Episcopal Church.
