Tuesdays in Lent

Spirituality of Resilience
February 23 through March 23 – 7 p.m.   

The overall theme of these sessions is Spirituality of Resilience.  Sub-topics include how resilience can be experienced through Art, Music, Literature, Prayer and Meditation, Physical Nature of Body/Mind.  Each topic will be presented by a different speaker followed by discussion and reflection.  Specific dates for each sub-topic will be announced once they are set.  We hope you can join all the sessions or pick and choose those  that are of interest to you.

Tuesday March 9, 7 PM – Presenter: Dr. Mark Trautman, Music Director at St. Paul’s, Englewood and Choir Director for Diocesan Music Camp
Resilience Through Music:  Music to soothe all its sorrow

Tuesday March 16, 7 PM – Presenter: The Rev. Ann Holt, retired Rector St. Thomas, Alexandria and former member of CHS
Resilience and the Prayer Book: Prayerbook Words That Feed the Soul

Tuesday March 23, 7 PM – Presenter: The Rev. Philip Carr-Jones, Rector, Church of the Holy Spirit
Resilience in Literature: Characters that Become Friends and their real-life encouragement by the authors who created them
