Are you a bread baker? Or is this something you’d like to learn? The CHS Altar Guild is seeking bakers to make ‘real bread’ for Holy Eucharist. This bread is essential to each Sunday’s Holy Communion, and is blessed, broken, and shared.

Seasoned bread bakers and beginners can participate in a baking session where we’ll discuss the bread recipe and then make a batch of bread. You can then sign up to bake when there is a request for bread. If you are interested in learning our bread recipe, practicing with others, and then volunteering to bake a batch, contact the Altar Guild via the admin email: [email protected]

October 20 is the date selected for discussion.  We'll meet following the 10 am service in the St. Martin Room.  "The Personal Librarian." is the true story of Belle da Costa Greene, who hides her racial identity during the 1900s.  She becomes the first director of JP Morgan's personal library, curating one of the most prestigious collections of art, books, and manuscripts. 
As always, there will be bagels and cookies!!
