CHS Worship

CHS Sunday Children's Formation meets at 10:00am in the St. Nicholas Room off the narthex. We will meet the first three Sundays of each month from October through May. All ages are welcome. Children will rejoin the service at The Peace. More information >

8 am Rite I spoken Eucharist beginning on the Portico (outside Dove Hall) with procession to the Sanctuary and reading of the Passion Gospel . Palms will be blessed
10 am Rite II spoken Eucharist beginning on the Portico with procession to Sanctuary and reading of the Passion Gospel in parts.
2 pm Palm Sunday Procession Ecumenical Service with Live Donkey (at Califon UMC 15 Raritan River Rd, Califon, NJ 07830)

WE CARE - WE CARE is running!
There are many facets to WE CARE and volunteers are also needed to write a little note of encouragement or pay a short visit. Drivers are especially needed. Any questions please talk with Susan Kane or Liz Cannizzaro.

Knit & Chat
Knit and Chat first Wednesdays from 1-3 PM.

In the Episcopal Church we observe the daily offices (morning prayer, noonday prayer, evening prayer, and compline) which can be read in community or in solitude. In the event of an emergency (weather, illness, or other), if we are unable to gather for Holy Eucharist, we will gather for Morning Prayer on Sunday mornings. As not everyone has a copy of The Book of Common Prayer at home, we recommend following along online through the Mission Saint Clare website. If you are interested in praying the daily office on your own, this is a wonderful resource which compiles the readings for the day (which are assigned according to the Book of Common Prayer lectionary), as well as the prayers, versicles, canticles, psalms and collects that are appropriate for the day and season.
