Bagels and Books - Discussion this Sunday (8/16) on the book Remarkably Bright Creatures. The group will meet after the 10 am service in the St. Martin room. Please return the book to the table in the office if you have not already done so. Books are due back to the library shortly. We will also make our next book selection at the end of the meeting.
Children’s Ministry/ Formation Update- The Fall planning team led by Janet Matts has completed their assigned task and then some in regard to Fall planning. The curriculum for children’s programs (K- 6 th grade) has been created, supplies organized, and plans made for the program year which will begin in September. Today the baton is being passed to the Winter planning team, which is being led by John Andrews and individuals who will plan from All Saints Day through Epiphany. It is a blessing to have such passionate, loving, and supportive individuals working for, by, and alongside the children of the parish.
Formation Leaders/Assistants- If you are a volunteer who works with children and/or youth at CHS, this is a reminder that, to be placed on the schedule, you need to have completed your Safe Church training. If you aren’t sure if you are up to date on thi,s contact the office and we will check for you. If you haven’t finished your training by September, you will be removed from the schedule.

The Fall Welcome Back breakfast will be September 13th, between services. It will be Pot Luck – so please bring your favorite breakfast dish to share.
“Church Tomorrow?” Book available for purchase in the office. If you are interested in leading a small group in the Fall, speak to Mother Kim. Training will be available for small group leaders in August. The hope is that folks will meet, discuss, and plan for “tomorrow” before the end of 2026. More information >
