Building on the wildly successful 2017 art show at CHS “Light in a Time of Darkness” we are in the final planning stages of LIGHT!, an all-media art show March 29th 6-9 pm & March 30th 1 - 9 pm.
The theme is “LIGHT!”, defined broadly and open to your interpretation. The scientific definition of the word is “electromagnetic radiation visible to the human eye.” However, light also expresses humanistic characteristics such as enlightenment and truth, or actions, like brighten, set on fire, animate, illuminate. Light as in a fire can be both cleansing and destructive. We invite and welcome alternate expressions and perceptions of LIGHT! What does it mean to you?
