Mindful Meditation and Awareness
Course Dates: Thursdays, August 6, 13, 20, 27
Time: 12:30 – 1:30 pm
Description: Mindfulness has many health and psychological benefits and has become an important tool for many during this time of COVID, when so much has changed in all of our lives. It gives us the opportunity to calm the mind and body, provide awareness around the changes occurring around us, and take time to ‘be’ rather than ‘do.’ Whether you have a regular practice: prayer, contemplation, meditation or you are new to this experience, this can enhance that awareness. All are welcome! You don’t have to attend all the sessions, as they are independent, but will build on each other. The session will be have an introduction, a mindful, guided practice (30 minutes) and then opportunity for comments or questions. The Zoom link to join the class is below.
