Participants will create peace flags of uniform size, with a goal of 500 flags to span the Clinton bridge connecting the two museums. Inspired by the Tibetan prayer flags, each piece will be made on organic muslin to disintegrate over time, releasing messages of peace into the world.

Several flag-making workshops are being held in the area, including a very special workshop hosted by Church of the Holy Spirit. Each flag should reflect the maker’s personal interpretation of the question: “What does peace look like to you?” Through symbols, colors, words, images or textures, every flag will become a message of peace carried outward into the world. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.
