Plan to attend this special event!
In rural western Kenya, many students attend public schools where there are often more than 50 students in a dirt-floor classroom sitting in threes at old wooden desks and sharing few textbooks. They walk miles to school and often do not get enough to eat for lunch. Most of these students never go to high school because they cannot pass the national exams.
Kiwimbi International, a non-profit charitable organization, is trying to help these students. As a Kiwimbi Board member, Janet Wulster would like to introduce Kiwimbi to you.
Join Kiwimbi’s Kenyan leaders Catherine Malalah and Olubayi Olubayi for breakfast in the narthex on Sunday, October 22 between services and learn first-hand what it is like to be a child in this under-served Kenyan community and what Kiwimbi is doing to give these kids an opportunity to go on to high school.
